To say that it is stamping with impatience is ... well below reality!

After having played in the opening round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux at Spa-Francorchamps in early May, Didier Van Dalen was more discreet on the circuits.

"The opening of the Kronos Porsche Center's new facilities in Louvain-la-Neuve has required a 100% personal investment," explains the Business and Marketing Manager of the country's most modern Porsche dealership. "With the exception of a last-minute freelance at the 25 Hours VW Fun Cup, I have not ridden in the race for more than four months. "

If Didier, like the entire Kronos Porsche Center team, can rejoice in the many enthusiastic reactions received since the inauguration of the new dealership, the fact remains that the competition is lacking.
"I am therefore looking forward to my return to the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux this weekend," smiles the young man, who has just turned 28 years old.
"In fact, it will even be a two-way comeback as I will be competing in the last two events: at the Nürburgring this weekend, then in Barcelona two weeks later. "

As always, the magnificent Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with psychedelic colors will be pampered by the mechanics of the Kronos Porsche Center.
"Every time, it's a wonderful human adventure with my colleagues," says Didier.
"Finally, a race weekend brings us closer together.
It's a bit like a Team Building.
In addition, we can benefit from the advice of some members of the FACH Auto Tech team who know the specifics of this car and who can help us to define the right settings. "

In lack of driving, Didier is hardly illusions before approaching the meeting of the Nürburgring.
"With only one race at the wheel of the car this year, I will necessarily be less in the rhythm than my opponents," he admits.
"But I still did a test session at Spa-Francorchamps last month to do a few kilometers with the 911 GT3 Cup.
As for the Nürburgring circuit, I discovered it at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 road.
I only drove about thirty minutes, but I realized that it is both beautiful ... and quite complex, especially in its first part.
It will not be easy.
But the goal is above all to have fun by finding the peloton of this fantastic brand cut, which is on the sidelines of the prestigious DTM.
If a good result punctuates the weekend, it will be a bonus. "

After two free practice sessions on Friday, the qualifying sessions will be held in two stages late Saturday morning (11:55). The two races are scheduled for Saturday at 4:45 pm and Sunday at 9:35 am.
As the Nürburgring is a stone's throw away from the Belgian-German border, do not hesitate to go and cheer on Didier and the entire Kronos Porsche Center team!
