Big points and full of confidence for Ulysse De Pauw at Silverstone

At Silverstone, he recalled that he was one of the fastest pilots in BRDC British F3.
Ulysse De Pauw has again met the expectations placed in him with a good harvest of points for this penultimate round of the season.
As an applied student, the Grézien built his weekend as early as the qualifications.
"Despite a slight understeer, the car was working really well and I was able to achieve the 5th and 4th fastest times," said Ulysses.
"By overpowering a little less, I might have been able to win a position on the grid.
But in the end, I remain very satisfied, especially when we remember how my previous visit to Silverstone had turned.
"

The spearhead of the Douglas Motorsport was to achieve three strong races at the time when each unit counts at the end of the season.
Starting from 5th place for Race 1, Ulysses was avoiding a persistent understeer to maintain this position at the bottom of the checkered flag.
The Brabançon then performed well in Race 2 despite a 12th position on the grid because of the reverse grid.
"We were on wet tires on a drying track," he recalls.
"I got off to a great start as I was in 5th place at the end of the first lap. But my gums were too high in pressure and I suffered later.
I was able to save the 6th place, which is great knowing that I was leaving far.
"

Race 3 was animated for pilot # 55 who nevertheless managed to bring his Tatuus-Cosworth home.
"I had one of the best starts of my season since I was 3rd after a few hectometres and in the wheels of the first.
But then, a competitor wanted to force the passage and took me off the track.
In the adventure, I lost time and a few places to finish 7th. But I have no regrets about this mishap because I had nothing to lose, unlike my rival who has mortgaged his last chances of title.
"

The BRDC British F3 2019 will already live its final clap on September 14 and 15 on the Donington Park circuit, where Ulysses clinched his first podium in the championship two months ago.
And we bet that he will have the firm intention to conclude his campaign in style.

"I want to finish on a positive note.
As in the theater, we mostly remember the last run for a season.
I showed that I had the speed to win. It's up to me to keep my 5th place in the championship.
