Jaipur – Fathepur Sikri – Agra

In Abaneri, Chand Baori is a well built at the request of King Chanda in the eleventh century.

This monument of the Middle Ages is little known. The 3500 steps are dug up to 30 meters deep.
Following the good or bad monsoons, the building was filled with the precious liquid to meet the daily needs of clean and fresh water.

One of the facades contains ceremonial temples and numerous statues carved in stone, which bear witness to its past of the 8th and 9th century.
Legend has it that it was built in one night and its depth would not allow anyone to recover a thrown piece at the bottom.
This is a place still little known tourists but beautifully preserved.

We arrive at Agra in Utar Pradesh, where we will meet the prestigious Taj Mahal at sunset.
It will not be the best view yet because it is lost in the mist on the bank of Yamuna.

Four million people a year visit this mythical place.
The mausoleum is part of a set formed by gardens and fountains.
It is surrounded by two mosques, only one of which is used for worship as it is oriented towards Mecca.
You should know that the Taj Mahal represents the symbol of the great love of Emperor Shah Jahan and his favorite wife Arjumand Bânu Be gam or Mumtaz Mahal.
The latter dies giving life to their fourteenth child.
The building is recognized as the jewel of Mughal architecture.
