Meet Meat

Meet Meat and its Argentine meat

To meet the true taste of meat !

The essential address for the gastronomic purposes of an incomparable meat.
It is in Uccle at the crossroads of Chaussée d'Alsemberg and rue Roosendael that this establishment opened less than four years ago.
The bosses made every effort to discover, import and bring to the customer an Argentinian meat of exceptional quality from young cattle raised in pastures.
Here it will be matured slowly according to principles well established by the house.
The introduction begins for those who want a choice of cocktails.
Classical or original, their presentation is surprising and their particular taste for some.
A beautiful start for an exceptional meal.

Meet Meat literally means "meet the meat".
The discovery is part of the show that will already give you a glimpse of the knowledge from the staff of the various pieces.
Before ordering the room of your choice, we present the neighborhoods to help you discover the part of the animal to which it belongs, but also to detail you its singularity.
Some will be following their cutting softer, juicier but all will have an undeniable quality.
We were told that you should not be especially carnivorous but that even the unconditional vegetarian can discover a piece to his taste.

The introduction with the Argentinean plate will be able to delight you with empenadas with minced meat, the grilled cheese, but also the chorizo criollo on base of very particular spices imported from the country.
The choice of dishes is not an easy task considering the quantities: 200, 400 and 750 gr among steaks (detailed in two different ways), counterfeit, pure fillets and rumsteak. We can assure you that your choice will undoubtedly be the best regardless of your decision where cooking.

We opted for the "Tira de ancho" a piece of steak grilled slowly on a vertical grill and the "Medialuna de vacio", Uruguayan bib, also grilled slowly and bathed in a mixture of olive oil, garlic and parsley.
The whole is accompanied by home-made fries or a delicious baked potato and a salad with "chimichurri" sauce (Argentine herb vinaigrette).

The wine list is largely expanded and as many bottles are Argentinean, offered at all prices, let yourself be advised by the staff.

We opted, on their advice, for a wine of Argentinean origin of a Malbec grape variety and without regretting the choice.

If the appetite is still present, the choice of desserts can only satisfy the greediest.
The little ones are not forgotten because a card "child" awaits them.

The icing on the cake, for an address where parking spaces are difficult to thaw, a valet service will avoid you to do many rounds of the neighborhood.
