UPDATE CONCERNING THE STOPPING OF OPERATIONS
FROM THE FLEET UNTIL APRIL 30

Brussels, March 19, 2020 -

MSC Cruises today confirmed the suspension of all fleet-wide shipments until April 30 due to the extraordinary circumstances the world is currently facing due to the COVID-19 virus.

Ships currently at sea will complete their current itinerary to bring passengers back to their ports of disembarkation, then also stop their activity.

With the COVID-19 situation now a global pandemic, governments around the world are constantly reviewing public health and safety measures on land to protect local populations and limit the spread of the virus.
The decision made last week by MSC Cruises to cease all fleet-wide operations for a period of at least 45 days is intended to further reflect and support the effectiveness of these measures.

MSC Cruises offers customers affected by this extraordinary measure the opportunity to book a new cruise until the end of 2021.
The entire amount paid will be deducted from the amount of the new reservation and will be accompanied by an additional on-board credit.

Currently, the resumption of the new cruises is planned from April 30 inclusive.
